The Sound/Image Cycle

This is an ongoing collaborative project that begins with a piece of music known as "Fantasia Synesthesia #1". From the sounds of the music, the artist Zuo Jin will be drawing inspiration to create a painting that expresses his enlightenistic ideology, leading an audience 1000 strong to draw with him, encouraging every listener of the music to draw or paint their own visual interpretations. Then the pieces are taken to other musicians who have never heard the original "Fantasia Synesthesia #1", and they are asked to create music based on inspiration drawn out of the images. The music created from that then gets painted again, and so on and so forth, creating a perpetual cycle of creativity and inspiration.
